Hi Fiona! Tell us a little bit about you and what do you do!
I was born and raised here in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia, and I’m a TV host and producer. I’ve been working both in front of the camera and behind the scenes for over 20 years (!) and have had the incredible opportunity to interview thousands of people, from A-listers to Prime Ministers, rock stars to astrophysicists and everyone in between. I just love hearing people tell their stories!
Currently I’m working as a producer and on-camera host for both Hubcast Media and UPWEGO.ai. I host a live-concert series called Onstage for Hubcast Media that airs nationally on Joy TV and I’m also on board as senior creative producer with Hubcast for various global productions and streaming events. I’m a lead producer and principal content creator for the UPWEGO.ai app, which recently launched, and we are so excited about it! The UPWEGO platform offers classes, live workshops and events, and a feed of inspiring content. I host an interview series on UPWEGO called The Feed with Fiona, where we invite people to tell their personal journey stories about how they got to where they are today. And, don’t worry, I’m not completely crazy having two jobs! There’s a lot of serendipity between the two companies and we shoot my interview series for UPWEGO at Hubcast Studios here in Vancouver. It’s one of those collaborations that just worked out, and I’m so happy it did!
