Welcoming the Class of 2020 to BC Sports Hall of Fame



Hubcast Media was pleased to partner with the BC Sports Hall of Fame to produce and broadcast the Class of 2020 Welcome Ceremony. Hosted by Olympic medalist Lynn Kanuka and broadcaster Perry Solkowski, the virtual induction celebration took place on Thursday July 15, 2021. Hubcast distributed the event via Facebook Live and Zoom.


The BC Sports Hall of Fame celebrates extraordinary achievement in BC sport history and inspires future generations to make their dreams come true. The new class of honoured membersfeaturing five athletes, three builder-coaches, one team, one pioneer, one media member and the W.A.C. Bennett Award winner

will be officially inducted into the Hall of Champions and BC Sports Hall of Fame.


“Our Class of 2020 is a terrific cross-section of the personalities and teams that make the history, heritage and culture of sport in British Columbia so notable and inspiring for the next generation of young people in BC,” says Tom Mayenknecht, Chair of the BC Sports Hall of Fame.
